As a child I was not a great fan of sweets and desserts. While I loved to make and bake sweet stuff, I was more of a savory person. But marrying a Bengali changed it completely. Their love for ‘mishti’ cannot be matched! And obviously I got influenced and it took over my kitchen like a storm. These days, with my daughter being like her dad, sweets and desserts are an integral part of my cooking. Here are some of our family favorites.
