Indian pizza recipes

Collection of Indian pizza recipes.

Pizza – we all love it… Do you know someone who doesn’t? There are so many ways of making a pizza. But have you tried a pizza in an Indian style? YUM. Enough said.

While in India we mostly had takeaway pizza, which was totally customised to suit the Indian taste buds. I had rarely baked a pizza from scratch then. Here in Melbourne, I started missing those flavours that I loved in a pizza. So I started making them at home.

For all these pizzas, I make the base at home from scratch. You may choose to use a store-bought pizza base but making them at home is really simple. You may even prebake and freeze them. By doing this, your dinner will be ready in no time. I make the pizza sauce with Indian spices and herbs rather than Italian seasonings. The toppings I choose depends purely on the type of pizza and in some cases, just depends on what is available in my refrigerator when I am making the pizza.

Here is a collection of our favourite Indian pizza recipes. From our favourite Kadai panner pizza to keema pizza, here is the list of my favourite pizzas. You can also find the recipe for gluten-free pizza (pizza dosa) and grain-free pizza (eggplant pizza) too. I am also including garlic bread in this list. It is not a pizza per-say, but pairs really well as an appetiser with pizza.

Try these delicious pizzas, some classic, some not-so-classic but all with a 'desi' touch.

Kadai paneer pizza
Grilled Eggplant and Feta Pizza
