Laddu

Laddu or laddoo are sphere-shaped sweet treats that are common across India. There are a lot of varieties made across India. Three main ingredients to make it is flour, ghee and sugar (or jaggery). The history of laddu dates back to centuries but even today, it is on the top of the list when it comes to sweet treats in India. It is an integral part of all Indian festivals, weddings, and celebrations. Promotion at work? Bought a new car? Birth of baby? The first thing that comes to mind is to do "muh meetha" (sweeten the mouth) with this delicious sweet treat.
