I have earlier shared the recipe of huggi or khara pongal. This is the sweet version of it and an integral part of Makar sankranti celebrations in Karnataka.
This traditional sweet dish is made with rice and mung dal and is refined sugar-free. Make this along with khara huggi for an amazing meal.

1. Cook roasted moong dal and rice together
2. Fry cashew, raisins, dry coconut in ghee
3. Add cooked rice-dal mix and jaggery
4. Simmer until completely done
