Amaranth Greens Stir fry – quick and healthy side dish where amaranth is stir-fried with garlic and dry red chilli
Eggplant Fry – slices of eggplant rubbed with turmeric and salt, and shallow fried
Mysore rasam – Pigeon pea lentil or toor dal cooked with tomatoes and freshly ground spice mix. Our family favourite and DD’s soul food
Beans palya – Beans cooked with mild spices and finished off with loads of coconut
Almond Burfi – Similar to fudge, almond burfi is made with almond meal. It stays fresh for 3-4 days when stored in an airtight container
