Vegetable Biriyani – Hydrabadi style vegetable dum biriyani. Rice and vegetables cooked with whole spices and finished off on ‘dum’ – absolutely aromatic and yum!
Paneer Kofta – Cottage cheese and potato balls in onion-tomato gravy
Raita – Whisked yogurt mixed with chopped onion and tomatoes and seasoned with salt and chilli powder
Sheera – suji halwa or semolina pudding. Mildly sweet pudding with loads of cashew and raisins
I cooked this plate of food to welcome 2017 and this was our first lunch of the year 🙂
