Churmuri Chivda (Puffed Rice Snack) 


Ingredients 5 cups puffed rice churumuri 2-3 tablespoon oil 1 teaspoon asafoetida (hing) 1 teaspoon turmeric powder ½ teaspoon red chilli powder 2-3 dry red chilli 10-12 curry leaves ¼ cup roasted Bengal gram  ¼ cup coconut dried, thinly sliced Salt to taste ½ cup peanuts raw

Fry the peanuts until crunchy

Add dry red chilli, coconut slices, and roasted Bengal gram

Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, asafoetida (hing)

Add curry leaves

Add the puffed rice and mix well

Serve immediately so the churumuri (puffed rice) stay crispy. Churumuri is served in paper cones in the streets of India
