Ingredients 15-20 dates pitted 1 cup tamarind seedless ¾ cup jaggery grated 2 teaspoon cumin seeds ½ teaspoon fennel seeds 1 teaspoon red chilli powder Salt to taste 3 cup water
Dry roast cumin and fennel seeds
Grind into a fine powder
Combine dates and tamarind in a saucepan
Boil with jaggery and spices. Let the chutney thicken
Once the mixture cools down, grind into a smooth paste
Cool completely before storing in the refrigerator
