Ingredients 3 cups cashew 1 teaspoon saffron ½-¾ cup sugar ½ cup water 1 teaspoon ghee 1 tablespoon pistachio

Chop the pistachios and set aside

Place cashew in a mixie and pulse into a powder

Pass cashew powder through a sieve to make sure there are no big pieces

Take sugar and water in a pan and bring it to boil

Add saffron and ghee. Mix well

Add the cashew powder

Stir the mixture

Keep stirring until the mixture comes together

Lightly grease modak mould with ghee

Fill the modak mould with cashew mixture and press gently

Add a few pieces of pistachios in the center

Seal using some cashew mixture

Unmould the cashew modak carefully

Cashew modak is ready to serve
